Spit goes all BODYBREAK!

Posted by The Wittiest of Skunks on October 2, 2011

Hey y’all!

October is here and you know what that means! Like every first friday of the month your folks here at Spit are ready to throw the hottest, sleaziest, sexiest queer party on East Van. And hell yea, you read it right, the theme of the night is BODYBREAK. So pull out your track suits, show off that moustache (ladiieeees…), and get  physical with us. Check it:

On the decks: DJs Cho Cha and Jay Douglas. Rocking the stage: your fabulous performers Madame Mae I and Jerrica Jem Benton.  Meet them and melt:

MADAME MAE.  A tiny little package with explosive energy and smoldering good looks – Madame Mae I is a fiery red-headed burlesque dancer with a fearless personality based out of Vancouver, Canada.

Some of Madame Mae I’s career highlights to-date include her recent crowning as “Princess” and “Most Classic” in North Carolina’s Great Southern Exposure Burlesque Pageant, and performing in Las Vegas’s Burlesque Hall of Fame Weekend 2010, Southern Fried Burlesque Festival 2011, The Windy City Burlesque Festival 2010, Vancouver’s International Burlesque Festival  2009, 2010, and 2011, and the upcoming New Orleans Burlesque Festival. She also served on the Vancouver International Burlesque Festival Association Board of Directors from 2009-2011.

Mae combines her professional dance background, creative madness, and playful personality with a powerful on-stage presence to wow audiences far and wide. Her acts range from classic striptease seduction to wonderfully quirky randomness to political performance art and everything in between.

When Madame Mae I isn’t producing Burly-Q Benefit shows – events that raise money for various causes and organizations – she’s heating up the stages of Vancouver and beyond with a cheeky yet seductive style that is uniquely her own.

JERRICA JEM BENTON.  Jem is excitment. Jem is adventure glamour, glitter, fashion and fame. Jem is truly outrageous. The way she crosses her legs, the way she moves her arms. Jem is a girl with incredible charm. Jem is her name no one else is the same.

FUCKYEA. There you go. Need more? Star warmin’ up beeches:

See you all on Friday!!!!
